Blogs, Podcasts and the Future

During the past couple of years, blogs and podcasts have been added to Web sites. Blogging and podcasting has reignited interested in the Web.

Blogs, or Web logs, are like a person's diary that is open to the world. There are millions of people who share their thoughts and provide information to others around the world. You can start a blog online by going to places like Blogger or Typepad.

Podcasts are like mini radio programs that you can download onto your computer, iPod or other MP3 player. You can create your own podcast and have it made available on places like iTunes in minutes.

The next logical stage in podcasting will probably be video. Advances in technology will make video practical to carry with you just like music can be carried in your pocket today. The future will be here before you know it!
